La Digue and its beautiful beaches

We are located at the most peaceful and beautiful island of all Seychelles - La Digue, 1 hour 45 min by ferry from the international airport on Mahe.

The pace of life is as slow as was 20-30 years ago, and some beaches are accessible only by foot... Here you will experience tropical nature and beautiful scenery at its best! Below are the most iconic beaches of the island worth your visit!

Grand Anse, Petite Anse, Anse Coco beaches

These three beaches at the eastern coast of the island are attractive to those who are looking for a wild nature undisturbed by the civilization. Long stretches of white sand beaches are framed into the picturesque granite builders. As there is no coral reef protecting the shore from the big waves, during the south east monsoon (from May till October) one can meet quite high waves and possible strong currents in the middle of the beach. Anse Coco is accessible only by foot going from Grand Anse and passing by Petite Anse beach. By itself, this walk is a great experience of walking though the forest and enjoying the lush tropical environment. We recommend renting a bicycle or getting a taxi to reach Grand Anse beach where you can start your exploration by foot.

Anse Source d'Argent beach

Anse Source d'Argent is the most famous beach of all Seychelles and listed in Lonely Planet as one of the world's best beaches in 2024. The beach is comprised of several stretches of fine white sand little beaches between a beautiful collection of the granite boulders. This beach is located at L'Union Estate Park (entrance fee applies) and very popular with day trippers to La Digue. The best time to visit is early morning and late afternoon to enjoy the colorful sunsets right in front of Anse Source d'Argent. You can get there by renting a bicycle or getting a taxi.

Anse Marron beach

Anse Marron is the beach at the very south-most tip of the island, accessible only by boat (at certain seasons) and by foot all year around. The way by foot is recommended to perform with the help of the guide, as the path at times is hidden in the lush forest and among the collections of the rocks. This kind of tour is a great adventure to remember! After the walk you will be rewarded with the pristine beach and a magnificent granite rocks arrangement at Anse Marron beach. Not to miss!
